About sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)?
STDs are infections that can transmitted from person to person through sexual contact or related activities. STDs may not show symptoms in the early stages of infection – so its possible to pass them on without even knowing. In Japan, STD cases are rising, and some can lead to long-term health issues like infertility.
You should consider getting tested if:
You have symptoms like pain, itching or discomfort in the genitals, throat, or anus
your partner tested positive,
you’ve had a contact with a commercial sex worker, or
you're simply feeling unsure or anxious about possible exposure.

Medical expenses for STD testing
This is a non-insurance covered medical service. We try to keep the price as low as possible, so please feel free to visit us.
The test results will be given to you when you come to the clinic. We can also give you the results over the phone, but in that case, a follow-up examination fee of 1,100 yen will be charged.

Precautions before taking the test
For Men:If you're planning to take a urine test for gonorrhea, chlamydia, mycoplasma, or ureaplasma, please do not urinate for at least two hours before your visit.
For Women:If you are menstruating and actively bleeding, we may not be able to perform the test. Please come after your peak flow has passed.
For Vaginal Tests: Self-collection is available. If you're not comfortable doing it yourself, our nurse is happy to assist you.

These tests can be less sensitive than the regular tests.
* We accept rapid-tests until 12:00 noon for morning hours and until 18:00 for afternoon hours on weekdays, and until 12:00 noon on Saturdays.

Condyloma treatment fee (liquid nitrogen therapy)
Our clinic offers liquid nitrogen therapy (cryotherapy) for genital warts. We use topical anesthetic cream, which is included in the price.
